The American Mathematical Society offers consortia pricing for MathSciNetthe
premier source for searching the world's mathematical literature.
There are now over 120 consortia worldwide with more than 2,000 academic institutions
that enjoy access to MathSciNet. These institutions include public and private
colleges and universities, community colleges, satellite campuses, and corporations.
to establish MathSciNet pricing that is relative to a site's mathematical
activity

Access to MathSciNet for all subscribers is sitewide, via IP authentication,
with no limits on simultaneous users or length of time connected to the database.
How MathSciNet Consortia Pricing is Calculated:
Consortia subscriptions to MathSciNet are composed of two parts: 1) the DAF,
which is the cost of maintaining and enhancing the database, and 2) the
MathSciNet (MSN) fee, which is the cost for the online delivery of the
data.
The Consortium DAF is based on the number of previous
subscribers to Mathematical Reviews (MR) in the consortium. The pricing
helps stabilize the revenue base for the DAF, while still allowing new schools
to gain access to the database at a reasonable cost.
MathSciNet consortia fees are calculated per site based on "Mathematical
Activity" (MA). MA is derived from the database and is the number of authors and their papers reviewed and/or indexed in the database over the most recent three-year period originating from that institution.
Licensing:
The AMS requires a signed license agreement for MathSciNet and other electronic
publications. The MathSciNet
Consortium License Agreement may be downloaded by the host site or the
main contact person for the Consortium to complete and return to the AMS.
The Exhibit A: Acknowledgment
of Terms and Conditions may also be downloaded for each member of the
consortium to complete and return to the AMS.
Assistance and Information:
The AMS is pleased to consider any consortia requests and will provide subscription
price quotes for any group, even those composed of all new subscribers. We
make every effort to help small institutions to either form new consortia
or join an existing one.

The AMS is pleased to sponsor the National Mathematical Reviews Subscription
Program which offers mathematical communities in over 100 developing countries
the opportunity to receive Mathematical Reviews at substantially reduced
rates.
Participating countries in this program are offered the MR Database
Fee (MR DAF) at a deeply discounted price.
Under this program, once the reduced MR DAF is paid, all institutions
within that country are able to purchase MR in the format of their choice:
print at normal list price and/or MathSciNet at a substantial discount.
The National MR DAF price is based on a country's Gross Domestic
Product (GDP) and mathematical activity. The DAF varies from country to country.
Countries Currently Participating:
Albania, Armenia, Benin, Bosnia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Costa Rica, Croatia, Ethiopia, Estonia, Fiji, Gabon, Ghana, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Laos, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Moldova, Mongolia, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, Montenegro, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, and Vietnam.
How you can help:
The Society is seeking contacts in the following countries to help coordinate
and administer the program. If you know of an appropriate organization or
individual in one of these countries that we might contact, please contact:
