Description
The School is devoted to recent advances in probability and statistical physics as well as to classical topics with current increase of activity. It targets graduate students and postdocs, but undergraduate students and advanced researchers are also welcome to attend. We plan four longer courses: Gerard Ben Arous, Alexei Borodin, Yuval Peres, Ofer Zeitouni; as well as mini-courses and talks by Yuri Bakhtin, Sourav Chatterjee, Alice Guionnet, Greg Lawler, Andrei Okounkov (tbc), Mikhail Sodin and others.
Support
We will be able to cover accommodation and possibly travel costs for a number of participants, with priority given to graduate students and recent Ph.D.s. If you are interested in participating, please submit your application with a short CV to: spspsp@chebyshev.spb.ru and provide for a letter of recommendation to be sent to the same address. The applications must be submitted by March 1, 2012 (and by February 12, if you request financial support).
